<P><FONT color=black><STRONG>能写善唱的Mat Kearney从在加州大学读书的时候就开始了自己的音乐生涯，在那里他进修文学而且还是足球队的主力球员。完成了三年级的学业后Kearney和他的好友也是后来的制作人Robert Marvin一起前往了纳仕维尔，本来的目的仅仅是夏季采风吸取灵感写些歌，可出乎意料有唱片邀约，Kearney决定留在田纳西随即开始了专业音乐生涯，他钟爱把Hip-Hop和民谣夹杂入流行的曲调，在2004年Kearney在家独立厂牌下出版了第一张专辑《Bullet》，06年加盟了主流厂牌哥伦比亚唱片后第二张专辑《Nothing Left to Lose》问世，这张在纳仕维尔Dark Horse Studio录制的专辑，为Kearney稍稍淡化Hip-Hop的押韵，更多的专注于吉他的演奏上，旋律性更强。</STRONG></FONT></P>
