The album has become one of Thalia's best to date, especially for the album's first single "Amor a la Mexicana" which proved the evolution of Thalía as a musician. It is considered to be a financial success.<br>This album has received 20 platinum plates and 33 gold ones. It topped the European charts 2 years after its release and Thalia promoted this album by making live performances and tours around the world. Also,in the meantime Thalia's soap operas were viewed by almost 180 countries and they had made Thalia very popular.<br>While it is assumed the song "Echa Pa'Lante" was included in the soundtrack of 1998 movie Dance with Me, starring Vanessa L. Williams and Puerto Rican pop star Chayanne, the version in the movie is completely different from the original song, even changing its message.<br>"Es Tu Amor" was released as the promotional single of the film "Ever After" in Latin America.<br><br> 1.
