Davide Combusti, in arte The Niro, nasce a Roma nel 1978.

Il padre, batterista, gli trasmette sin da bambino l’amore per la musica e per la batteria, il primo strumento  che impara a suonare. Con il passare del tempo alla passione per le percussioni  affianca anche quella per altri strumenti musicali, primi tra tutti chitarra e basso.

Davide, ormai polistrumentista ...

Così iniziava la breve scheda biografica di colui che a tutti gli effetti è stato l’artista esordiente del 2008, i principali periodici musicali lo hanno ritratto come una rivelazione assoluta, dotato di fantasia melodica imprevedibile, capacità suggestive, un talento dal respiro internazionale.

Con la stessa spavalda incoscienza di chi ha attraversato un anno magnifico oggi The Niro si appresta a pubblicare il nuovo album di studio dal titolo “Best Wishes”, 11 brani che si susseguono come un racconto con personaggi, pause e dilemmi dell’anima.

The Niro presenterà in anteprima alcuni brani del nuovo album il 18 e 19 marzo live ad AUSTIN (TEXAS) al South by SouthWest, il famoso festival musicale e cinematografico.
