<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2><FONT color=#ff8c00></FONT><BR><BR> <FONT color=olive>乐队名称“The Barque Of Dante”（但丁之舟）来自法国著名画家Eugène Delacroix（欧仁·德拉克罗瓦）（1798-1863）1822的的名作“The Barque Of Dante”。</FONT><BR><BR></P></FONT></STRONG>
<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> 乐队组建于2004年。同年自主录制首张EP《paean for hero》，其中包括6首曲目，当时的录音成员是谢知恒和刘远（已离队）两位在校大学生。该EP作为独立自主发行，通过网络销售，并在多个网站放有MP3 试听。200张CDR很快销售一空。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> 随后由于核心成员谢知恒大学毕业工作迁移，不得不寻找新的乐手。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> 2005是但丁之舟阵容最完整的时候。当时的成员是：主唱/节奏吉他：谢知恒；主音吉他：汪泓宇；BASS：邓辉；鼓：王磊。同年12月，但丁之舟在绵阳LOW酒吧进行了一次专场演出。之后随着吉他手汪泓宇离队，乐队再次成为录音室乐队。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> <SPAN class=t_tag onclick=tagshow(event) href="tag.php?name=2008">2008</SPAN>年，湖南地下音乐厂牌HSP联系了但丁之舟，并合作再版发行了前一张EP《paean for hero》，加收了06年单曲《sing for you》和08年新歌《farewell》（DEMO版）。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> 就在新专辑即将录制完成的时候，四川发生了5.12特大地震。但丁之舟所在地绵阳，是重灾区之一。录音室的电脑，录音设备几乎全部损毁，未完成的录音资料也大量丢失，甚至录音室成为了等待拆除的危房。使得这张专辑夭折。而但丁之舟的钢铁意志犹如他们的金属音乐一般不可摧毁，面对灾难乐队选择了从头再来。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> 2008年8月的绵阳，伴随着不断发生的余震，但丁之舟的录音工作再次开始。尽管这一期间进行的录音中途经常因余震而终断，但乐队最终还是以克服万难的精神的完成了这张专辑的录制。这张专辑最后命名为《最后的胜利》！</FONT></STRONG></P>
<P align=left><BR><STRONG><FONT color=darkslategray size=2> 2008年11月，但丁之舟签约北京号角唱片，并且将在2009年5月2日发行这张来之不易的专辑《最后的胜利》！</FONT></STRONG></P>
