[color=Blue][font=微软雅黑][align=center]何处的乐声，这样地熟悉，心，一颤，一股归乡故友重逢般的亲切、温馨油然袭来。好像又走在宁静的黄昏路上：倦鸟回归的树林已变得青灰，暮色里前方的教堂益发墨黑、凝重，在柠檬黄的晚天里肃穆着……

小时候我很爱听歌剧，有人或许要问，你听得懂吗？我从未想过要弄懂歌词，只非常惊异人的嗓子怎么能发出那么圆润清亮的声音，和上旁白，不知不觉让人沉入一种氛围。于是，对那异国的歌声，我深怀着感激，那份陌生与模糊给了我无限美丽的遐想。

看歌剧《茶花女》，喜欢热烈奔放的《饮酒歌》，喜欢第四幕的终曲：凄凉的音乐响了起来，一束淡淡忧伤的阳光照进来，维奥列塔一身素白，在那束阳光里轻轻地旋着，旋着……
教我《西方音乐欣赏》的是一位女教师，上了年纪，一头短发剪得很别致，看上去好像挽了个髻似的。她说起小时候在教堂里听韩德尔的《弥赛亚》，当合唱队唱到“哈利路亚，哈利路亚”时，一切是那么圣洁，教堂的什物、众人，甚至空气、阳光，她的心好像要飞出去了……

有时夜里走在路上，隐隐约约有琴声飘来，心，竦然一颤，从周围的世界里挣脱出来，和着那琴声，亦悲亦喜。这样的情形若是在风清月朗的夜晚，我便会想起《源氏物语》中两个优婆塞宫的女儿，留恋着秋天，抱着琵琶，整夜一心不乱地弹着，到了残月上来，还觉余情未尽，便用那弹琵琶的拨子招呼月亮……

时常在夜里，闭了灯，流溢在空间的只有音乐，带着光亮，带着颜色，带着芬芳，我便全然忘了自己，心中的光景一面是红烛赏残花，一面有朵含苞的莲正徐徐绽放……[/align][/font][/color]

The jury's still out on discs with spoken-word interludes. Should the music always speak for itself? Or is the occasional verbal breakdown useful? Ciara, R&B's most tantalizing goodie (without the two shoes), makes clear on The Evolution that she prizes the chance to tell listeners how it is--four between-song snippets dot the disc. But her momentary digressions will probably make up more than a few minds that Janet Jackson, and only Janet Jackson, ought to be allowed to ramble before the mic: when the music is this hot, it doesn't matter how sincere or saucy the dialogue--it's a distraction. The Evolution is a door-buster of a CD--Lil Jon gets the speakers jumping in milliseconds on opener "That's Right," Ciara dabbles in Curtis Mayfield-style creative phrasing on "Promise" (and it works), and Chamillionaire pumps "Get Up," a play-it-loud club number, full of hip-hop heat. Helpers and inspirers aside, though, this is Ciara's party, and she knows how to please a guest. "Get In, Fit In" finds her putting the sizzle in a space-age soundscape. And the buzz and fuzz of "I Proceed" plump her breathy vocals enough to put a point across, that being that few modern songstresses work a beat better. The striking part, and the part she should take into account the next time she's considering a disc with interludes, is that she didn't even need to tell us so.

Simple Plan's close chums include Good Charlotte and Blink 182, giving one a fair hint of the sound the group's debut, though, judging by song titles like "I’m Just a Kid," "The Worst Day Ever," and "God Must Hate Me," it’s clear these Canadian pop-punkers are aiming for a younger demographic still. Ignore the bikini-clad babes that festoon the sleeve--there’s none of Blink 182’s smutty double-entendres here. Frontman Pierre Bouvier writes about skipping school, crashing dad’s car, and lusting after girls that don’t know he exists. "Every day," he sob, "is the worst day ever." The music itself is far from glum. "I’d Do Anything" is a beaming Green Day-style chugger, while "When I’m With You" is a tale of obsession and heartbreak that owes more to the Go-Go's than Rancid. Seasoned punk fans will be put off by the excessive juvenilia, but the new wave should lap this up.

Inevitably labeled "pop punk," Simple Plan's sophomore album finds the Montreal quintet settling in as a straight-ahead rock band. Yes, lyrically, their concerns remain grounded in the adolescent petulance and alienation of classic punk. They're "the ones you love to hate." "You don't know what it's like to be me," they insist. "We're the kids that you pushed away," they huff. Musically, however, the follow-up to 2002's popular No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls finds the band moving toward a strain of radio-friendly rock that owes less and less to the punk canon. Opener (and album highlight) "Shut Up!" "Me Against the World," and "Perfect World" boast sweeping choruses and Pierre Bouvier's spit-in-your-eye vocals. But strings creep into "Welcome to My Life" and the closer, "Untitled," is a heart-on-his-sleeve piano lament that owes more to Night Ranger than the Ramones. This one will appeal to fans who prefer the "pop" side of the "pop punk" equation.

Culled from a concert/MTV broadcast recorded at Orlando's Hard Rock club, Montreal's Simple Plan ably show here why they've bubbled to the top of a crowded pack of contemporary punk-pop contenders. No hand-wringing, emocore angst or mock street ‘tude for vocalist Pierre Bouvier; he's too busy prodding the crowd into good-natured sing-alongs of band hits like "Addicted" and "Worst Day Ever" like a hyperactive cheerleader. His bandmates thrash and harmonize away behind him with equal zeal, interjecting an infectious energy to even the band's darker moments – though "darker" is a decidedly relative term in the impossibly effervescent Simple Plan universe – like "Me Against the World" and "God Must Hate Me." Simple Plan bristles here with enough boundless energy to make Green Day envious, even if they scrupulously avoid the latter's penchant for provocative smarts in the bargain. But then songs like "Crazy" (also featured here in an earnest acoustic version exclusive to this set) underscore that Simple Plan succeeds by tapping into the timeless, innocent hopes and fears of its largely teen audience with music that's both punk anxious and bubblegum sweet.

Simple Plan's third CD strikes to the swollen heart of emo, and maybe even pierces it a little. Compared with the band's first two albums, this eponymous one leans a shade more sedate, a bit less manic. Which is not to suggest that the boys don't bring it on this boringly titled 11-tracker. Trademark huge choruses crest in "Hold On" and "When I'm Gone," both of which edge toward the pure pop heart of the pop-punk divide. "I Can Wait Forever," a power ballad, makes you wonder whether the whiny-voiced front man Pierre Bouvier might have a few more genuinely reflective songs in him. Familiar themes bubble to the surface throughout: "Your Love Is a Lie" and "No Love" say everything about the band's commitment to upholding emo's core of self-pity and general despair. But it's not as if you'll be able to sit still and whine along as the songs roll on. Simple Plan's plan--to get you bouncing, bobbing, and otherwise grooving--is still simple. And like all uncomplicated strategies, it's still remarkably effective.
