Steel Train is an indie rock band from New Jersey. They have toured with Tegan and Sara, Ben Folds, The Fray, Silversun Pickups, Hanson, The Format, Gomez, O.A.R., Barenaked Ladies and others. Other highlights include performances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Coachella,Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and "The Late Show With David Letterman."
Steel Train is the third full-length studio album by Steel Train, released on June 29, 2010. The album features an all-female companion album entitled Terrible Thrills Vol. 1, which consists of covers, remixes, and re-imaginings of every song on the album by female artists. On June 20, the band began streaming Steel Train on their website in anticipation of their tour supporting the album.
[color=red]一开始挑选这张专辑的时候，并不是冲着乐队去的。真正吸引我的是那2首Bonus。
你们瞧那13，14首的bonus，天啊13首竟然是我的好莱坞性感女神Scarlett Johansson唱的。
但是听下来后她的版本的确没有乐队的版本好听。相反14首的 Amanda Palmer 倒是不错。
接下来说乐队。乐队之前常年为一些大牌乐队做暖场。一般这样的乐队都是很有激情的。
唱起歌来中规中矩的，专辑整体的水平相对很平均。[/color]
