<P><FONT color=black face=Arial><STRONG>Sugar Water Purple is a musically versatile band founded in Stockton by pianist, and main composer/arranger Joshua Washington in 2008. It started out as a jazz fusion band, but has since evolved into an R&B/Soul group. They are the house band at Stockton's own Pierced Ear Poetry Series hosted by With Our Words and play frequently at the University of the Pacific as well as in the Stockton area. Right now, Sugar Water Purple is working on their debut album of entirely original music which is scheduled to be released in May 2010. </STRONG></FONT></P>
