Murdered Love is the eighth studio album by P.O.D., and is expected to release on July 10, 2012. Murdered Love is the follow-up to When Angels & Serpents Dance and it sees the band reunited with long-time producer Howard Benson who also produced the band's The Fundamental Elements of Southtown and Satellite albums. Three songs have been released, two of which, a demo version of "On Fire" and "Eyez," have been released for free. The lead single "Lost in Forever (Scream)" charted at No. 21 on the mainstream rock charts, and No. 1 on Active Rock and Christian Rock on iTunes.
The music video was released on May 14, 2012 and has since received over 1,000,000 views as of July 4, 2012. The highly anticipated album has launched several preorder options from payableondeath.com. A sample of West Coast Rock Steady, the 5th track off the album with Sen Dog of Cypress Hill, was featured on ESPN. On July 3, the band premiered a new video, "Murdered Love", directed by Ramon Boutviseth.
