French composer Vincent Villuis aka AES Dana
follows up on his highly acclaimed "Perimeters"
album released in 2011 with a vibrant and
powerful opus titled "Pollen" which presents 10
tracks fusing IDM / Downtempo, Deep Tech and
Progressive Trance.

A cinematic album which offers new perceptions of
the work of the composer who weaved symphonic
pads into deep bass grooves and haunting themes
while bringing out a certain melancholia brushed
by stratified rhythms.

Passionate about the concept of pollination and
how it transposes with music, sounds, technology
and humanity, the artist recorded and gathered
moments of his life as he walked through cities,
fields, seaside and airports. Back in the studio,
he introduced these field recordings in his
electronic compositions to yield tracks that are
eclectic yet retain a common essence.
In this configuration, man and machine are both
pollinators and pollenizers; music is the pollen.

Group Notes

We are  on the block  for over  a decade  now and
we noticed that it is getting worse year by year.
Years ago scene releases found  their way  to the
public via kinda slow p2p networks, DC++ hubs  or
FXP-Pubs.  Nowadays  most stuff  gets spread  via
Filehosters within a few minutes  or even seconds
which is very sad to see!  We wonder why are some
crazy kids  doing this?   What is your intention?
GET A LiFE!

Of course we can understand  that people download
a CD to listen to it before buying. But please be
honest and buy it  if you really like it!  If you
call  yourself  a fan  then  you should  own  the
releases from your favorite artists  as original!
If  you  got  everything  as mp3 only you  should
reflect  a bit more  about  the current situation
in psytrance scene! Our beloved psytrance artists
aren't  popstars like  Madonna who earn thousands
if not millions. Labels can be happy if they earn
enough  money to cover all the production  costs!
If  this  continues that  way some artists (maybe
your #1 favorite!) will stop making music  and/or
the  production  of  CDs  will  stop  at  all and
everything will be available  as digital download
only - but no download  can beat the warm & fuzzy
feeling to hold a brand new CD from your favorite
artist    or   label    in   your    own   hands!

We can't  repeat it  often enough,  the psytrance
scene  is very small  and needs  your support. If
you LOVE this music (like we do), please BUY this
music  or  VISIT some parties  (like we do)!  Our
releases are meant  for promotion  only - to give
you   a   sample   of    the   retail    product.
