The Wind and The Wave (Patricia Lynn and Dwight Baker) are set to release
their debut album From The Wreckage on August 5th. The Austin based duo has
also announced that they will be going on tour with Barenaked Ladies
starting on July 27th in Grand Rapids, MI. Additionally, The Wind and The
Wave just finished their tour with Jamestown Revival and will be performing
at this year s FMQB Triple A Conference in Boulder, CO next month.

The band played at SXSW this year and were named one of 12 local acts to
watch at the festival by The New York Times. In addition, the band was
hailed as one of ten bands to watch in Austin Monthly. Patty and Dwight
recently supported Fun. and Bruce Springsteen at the NCAA March Madness
Music Festival in Dallas, TX.

The Wind and The Wave was the special musical guest on CW's Hart of Dixie
where they performed, My Mama Said Be Careful Where You Lay Your Head and
"It's A Longer Road to California Than I Thought." Additionally they
re-recorded Simple Mind s "Don't You Forget About Me" and Cyndi Lauper's
"Time after Time" specifically for ABC s Grey s Anatomy. Other tracks can be
heard on CW's Supernatural and ABC's Killer Women.
