以咆哮式饒舌歌曲記述美國街頭暴力和掙扎的嘻哈音樂歌手DMX過世，享年50歲。法新社和紐約時報報導，真名為厄爾．西蒙斯（Earl Simmons）的DMX長期合作律師證實了他的死訊，此前這位知名饒舌歌手的家人已在社群媒體上發布聲明指出，DMX因心臟病發急救，不到1周後過世。聲明指出：「厄爾（指DMX）是一位勇士，他為自己奮戰到最後一刻。」
