Having made a name for himself as a co-founder of Treble Charger, where he wrote such classics as "Red," and "Morale," Bill Priddle is back with The Priddle Concern.
Co- produced by Bill Priddle with Howie Beck (Hayden, Jason Collett), Andy Magoffin (Two Minute Miracles/The Hidden Cameras, The Constantines, Great Lake Swimmers), John Critchley (13 Engines/ Elliott Brood) and Dave Neufeld, (Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals) the priddle concern debut also features Brendan Canning (Broken Social Scene), Evan Cranley (Broken Social Scene/Stars), Justin Peroff (Broken Social Scene) and Amy Millan (Stars).
Bill Priddle is a Canadian indie rock musician, who has been associated with the bands Treble Charger, Broken Social Scene and Don Vail.
On May 6, 2008, Priddle released an album under the name The Priddle Concern. The self-titled album featured contributions from Stars' Amy Millan and members of Broken Social Scene (including Justin Peroff, Evan Cranley and Brendan Canning), and was produced by Howie Beck, Andy Magoffin, John Critchley and Dave Neufeld. Most of the songs on the album were written in 2003 and 2004 however, some date to 1996. The songs were recorded in 2006, according to a posting on the web page established for The Priddle Concern.
