The sound of Something Sally is unlike anything you've heard before; it's new yet retro, original yet strangely familiar.
Since 2006, Something Sally has released 3 singles, 2 music videos, made their Hit40 debut, topped iTunes’ sales charts, been featured as one of Norway’s most export-friendly musical acts, toured Europe and released a single with one of the top-selling female artists of the world, Joss Stone. All this even before their debut album "Familiar Strangers" is available to the public.
In July 2006, Something Sally made their break on to the Norwegian music scene with the single "Sally Can’t Wait". The single reached top 10 most selling Norwegian single and Something Sally was chosen as one of Norway's top 15 most export-friendly musical acts in renowned music magazine Music Week. Also their 2nd and 3rd single "The Taste" and "Circles", released Jan 07 and May 07 were well received by the Norwegian media. Both received good rotation on Norwegian radio- and TV stations, and "The Taste" was in February one of the most played songs on Norwegian radio, reaching no.7 on the sales charts.
