Hey Now, Morris Fader is a band of two. Brooks Milgate plays piano and hammond
B3, while Alex Sacco plays drums. Both contribute vocally. The two originally
began as a throw together band for one gig at Bill's Bar in Boston. That gig
never ended up happening but Milgate and Sacco continued making their racket and
writing their songs. Irreverant and sarcastic, Hey Now, Morris Fader writes
about the ups and downs of life while capturing the audience with dynamic and
hook-laden sing along choruses. The band released their first record "Bang The
Bass, Turn Up The Treble" in 2007 and followed it up with their second record,
recorded at New Alliance in Boston with Jon Taft. The second record, Ride the
Fader is available now.
"their influences and musical chops shine bright, from the pianos of
Ben Folds Five to the vocals of a younger Dave Grohl of the Foo
Fighters. And while tipping their hats to these greats, HN, MF is
creating a sound that is unmistakably their own" - Andrew Bersch,
Pulse Magazine, August 2007[/b]
