<P><FONT color=darkolivegreen size=3>After Forever成军于1995年的，在声乐女高音主唱Floor Jansen1997年加入乐队之后，乐队开始了创作之路。这支年轻乐队于1999年的一张demo得到Transmission Records的赏识而获得一纸唱片合约，After Forever也不负众望地于2000年发表了首张专辑<Prison of Desire>，专辑广受好评，让乐队名气迅速上升。然而After Forever并沒有停下来，在唱片公司的全力支援下，获得许多金属乐队梦寐以求的与交响乐团及唱诗班合作演出的机会，随后于2001年末发表了更加出色的第二张专辑<Decipher>！<BR><BR>After Forever在gothic death metal的基调上，注入了多样音乐派别的精华，如doom metal、black metal、progressive metal、古典乐、声乐...等等，他们将前卫金属的编曲思维，发挥于歌特金属音乐当中，配备浓厚的交响乐背景，以女主唱动人的演唱表现，来创造高质感的歌特金属乐。在After Forever的作品中，让人看到了他们丰沛的创造力，也看到了歌特金属乐的发展的多元性和很多开创性的尝试。<BR><BR>After Forever的女主唱Floor的演唱亦是一大亮点，Floor的音色和唱腔可以说是综合了同乡乐队The Gathering主唱Anneke van Giersbergen和Within Temptation主唱Sharon den Adel的缥缈美声，以及Nightwish主唱Tarja的声乐唱腔，其在演唱表现上能配合曲式流畅地游走于一般腔与声乐腔之间。</FONT></P>
<P><BR><FONT color=darkolivegreen size=3>After Forever的作品编曲结构强谨，浑厚壮阔的弦乐组在作品中有非常抢眼的演绎，除了气氛烘托外，更有大量的吉他、双大鼓的对奏表现，女高音引吭高歌，尖声黑腔与兽吼死腔则适时地穿梭而出，将听众的情绪推向高潮.（转载自网络）</FONT></P>
