WFD has been on the interview circuit and showcased on hundreds of Podcasts, terrestrial, internet and Sirius Satellite radio programs. Having performed on bills ranging from singer songwriters showcases, coffee shop venues, to Sunset Strip clubs (Viper Room, Roxy, Cat Club, etc). WFD can fit any type of booking. While still holding on to the traditional purity of acoustic music, Waiting for Decay has adapted a Rock Show attitude whenever they perform. Bringing audiences to the edge of their seat and holding them there for the entire show. More recently, Waiting for Decay has affiliated them selves with endorsements, promotional, and performance agreements with Horns High, DeadRinger Jewelry, Stygma, Sexhair Ltd and Labeled by Society apparel. This has allowed Waiting for Decay print media exposure in several magazines. Whether interacting with WFD fans on Myspace, or at any show, one thing is clear, WFD will grab you and will not let go. After winning 5 Different music awards in California people still ask, so is it Metal or is it blues? The driving guitar and bass, despite being acoustic, coupled with hard vocals in the track Mask or Face are definitely so, but have the flavour of an unplugged session. Tracks like Muddy Water move away from the Metal sound and move towards a Southern Blues/Rock sound, whilst still retaining a Metal current running through it. The final track on the album, Last Call, has a Spanish/Latino flavour thrown in to the guitar sound adding yet another level to the depth of this already diverse album. With a blues and bluegrass undertone, Waiting for Decay fuse a distinct mix of laid-back melancholy of the Deep South, with a hard, grungy, Metal workhorse dragging it's lazy carcass out of the muddy riverbanks and kicking it's ass into gear. Definitely one for the Metal and Hard Rock fans, but easily accessible for music fans who aren't so accepting of raucous ear assaults.
