RELEASE NOTES
Who is Shake Dizzy? This is one of the most
common questions I get when I'm promoting myself
for one of my up and coming parties/shows. I am a
26 yr old independent hip/hop artist from
Jamaica, Queens New York. I am the C.E.O of my
indie label Dizzy Entertainment and I focus on
marketing and promoting myself because at the end
of the day, you can only count on yourself to
make something happen. I write everything from
smooth rap, hardcore rap, R&B, Reggae, to pop. I
do it all. I even help co-produce beats with my
producers whenever a beat comes in my head. I
mainly write rap verses and R&B hooks to go with
the song. This is my strongest craft or niche. I
only do reggae, pop, and beats whenever I get the
vibe or if thats what I think the beat is telling
me. Story telling is one of my favorite things to
do when I'm writing a song. I was mainly
influenced by Slick Rick, Biggie, Nas, 2pac and
Jay. Some of the best story tellers to ever do
it. Now a days, rappers tend to run away from
that but thats where I get my shine on. I've been
writing music since about 9 and didn抰 start
taking it serious until I was about 21 or 22.
Since then, I've meet people like Teddy Riley,
Bounty Killa, Mad Cobra, and T.O.K from opening
shows and grinding. I released an independent
album entitle "Fresh Outta Bricktown" on Jan. 3,
2k9 and it will be available on CD baby,
digstation, itunes, amazon mp3, rhapsody,
napster, v-cast, and more. I have a street team
of 15 members and they are going to help me
"SHAKE" things up in the industry.
