Björk，全名Björk Guðmundsdóttir， 1965年11月21日出生，，冰島歌手、音樂創作人及演員。以其鮮明的風格著稱，有過2次婚姻，育有2子。在歐美、日本、台灣等地極具知名度，故國家地理雜誌在2008年稱其為「冰島最著名的出口品」。

歲就推出了名為《碧玉》（Björk）的專輯。之後組建多個樂團（例如Spit and Snot，Exodus，Tappi Tíkarrass，KUKL以及冰島著名的搖滾團體The Sugarcubes）並推出出唱片。

1982年冰島音樂紀錄片「搖滾在雷克雅維克」收錄了她組成的Tappi Tikarass的兩首歌，受到冰島樂壇注意。憑藉1993年的專輯《處女作》（Debut）奠定其世界樂壇的地位。

碧玉也涉足電影，憑藉2000年在電影《在黑暗中漫舞》（Dancer in the Dark）的出色表演獲得當年坎城電影節（Cannes Film Festival）的影后。2005年又參演其伴侶馬修·巴尼（Matthew Barney）執導的電影《掙脫9》（Drawing Restraint 9）。

碧玉曲風多變，且實驗性十足，如1993年推出的《處女作(Debut)》遭到著名的滾石雜誌批的體無完膚，但是其他樂評則大力讚揚整張專輯，極端化的反應仍然在各地大賣，奠定今日地位。甚至還嘗試過冰島式的爵士曲風，2007年專輯甚至加入流行樂元素。
