Release Notes:
Don P. from Trillville. Trillville was one of the first groups
to make the "crunk" sound a big movement through the south.
When Don P. went to court about the alleged sexual assault of
a minor when he was younger, Trillville's movement pretty much
stopped. In 2005, Trilltown Mafia came upon the scene with
their hit single "Twinkle Twinkle". Twinkle Twinkle tore up
the radio throughout the south with a melody, of course,
similar to twinkle twinkle little star. Don P. made his
appearance in 2006 when he put out Trilltown Mafia's mixtape
"The Mi Tae" with DJ Scream. Don P. and Trilltown Mafia later
released their album entitled "It Goes Without Saying". In
2007, Don P. released volume 2 of Target Practice in which he
took aim at literally any rapper in the south. Volume 1 was
honed to dissing Lil Scrappy for him being so "gangsta".
Summer 2008, Don P. returned as part of Trillville. "Straight
Up, No Chaser" was released in June 2008 and was a pretty big
hit in the south. P had recently signed a distribution deal
with Universal and released Straight Up, No Chaser. Now, 2009
is a new year and Don P. released Target Practice Volume 3 on
April 28. This volume is also hosted by the infamous DJ
Scream. It features the likes of Red Snappah, Big Mel, Ricky
Fontaine and John Boy. This cd was released on Don P.'s label
Swag Up Entertainment with distribution through BCD Music
Group. It's a retail mixtape, approved by Don P. himself.
Don P. hails from Lithonia, GA which is located in between
Panthersville and Conyers. Fucks wit' it. Enjoy
