1966年12月8日出生於愛爾蘭的辛妮歐康諾Sinead O'Connor，自爆從小從被母親虐待，甚至曾因偷竊被送入感化院，種種極具個性的作為，不但拒絕被當作性幻象對象，同時也勇於顛覆傳統女性的刻板行塑。頂著一頭光頭高唱〈Nothing Compares To You〉，依舊是樂迷對她永難忘懷的招牌印象。這首翻唱自王子Prince舊作的〈Nothing Compares To You〉，在Sinead O'Connor充滿渾厚高亢的音色中，將分手後的思念、焦慮與痛苦，情緒性地潛藏在每個聲線、鼓點節奏與小提琴的音色當中。此外，在導演John Maybury的掌鏡之下，一股淡淡哀愁和兩顆最終奪眶而出的淚珠，更讓這首歌的音樂錄影帶一舉勇奪1990年MTV音樂獎「年度最佳影帶」，創下該獎項有史以來第一位由女歌手奪下年度最佳影帶的首例！總計這首單曲締造全美四周冠軍、榮登年終榜Top 3及全球12國單曲排行冠軍；而專輯本身更勇奪1991年葛萊美音樂獎四項提名，並拿下「最佳另類音樂表演」的獎項（然而，她本人拒絕接受這些提名與獎項），並在全球創下超過七百萬張的專輯銷售。距離首次發行19年後，這張堪稱Sinead O'Connor的成名代表作品，終於能以加值2CD的紀念型式，「限量」發行。除了收錄原專輯10首經典佳作的Original Album (CD1)外，並以Bonus Disc (CD2)收錄10首未從公開發行、現場演出或是B Side作品等珍貴錄音。
