<P>2004年，Michael Franti和他的拍摄队伍穿越了众多“禁区”，比如巴格达、约旦河西岸、加沙隔离带，用他的吉他和摄像机试图带来关于战后人民生活状态的第一手资料。在这次旅行结束后，一部引人注目的记录片《I Know I'm Not Alone》诞生了，同时还有一些灼热、引人沉思的原声歌曲。Yell Fire就是这些革命之音的收藏集，是战后人民痛苦的呻吟之音；是埋藏战争贩子的复仇之音；是重新建立人与人之间信任的和平之音，他所带来的是一种正确的政治讯息(righteous political message)，蛰伏两年后终于倾泻而出。歌词简单直接甚至有时已游离出歌曲本身，比如：“Those who start wars never fight them/And those who fight wars never like them”“The F15 is a homicide bomber”很少有音乐家能做到Franti这样诚实直接，仅仅是胆量的问题吗？Spearhead也失去了那种Peter Tosh(另一Reggae组合)颂歌的靡靡之音，因为他不想把这种声音变成一种模式而将其合法化，他们要的是革命。 </P>
<P>看着封面上的格瓦拉和YELL FIRE！这个惊叹号，一个音乐家能做到这样，难道不值得我们尊重吗？最后用Stay human中的歌词：“每朵花都有开花的权利”来结尾，让我们祝他好运！ </P>
