一位國際特種部隊間諜馬丁（西恩潘 飾）深受創傷壓力症候群（PTSD）所苦，為了與他交往多年的女友（潔絲敏婷卡 飾）長相廝守而萌生退出這危險組織的念頭。但天不從人願，就在此時他發現自己遭人誣陷 並暗算，女友也同時被挾持綁架，還被頂尖殺手（哈維爾巴登 飾）追殺而流亡於歐洲；現在，他不僅要證明自己的清白，還必須想盡辦法救出愛人才能全 身而退。
