乡村新人David Nail首张个人大碟《I'm About to Come Alive 》!!
专辑介绍:
I'm About to Come Alive is an album by country music artist David Nail. It is his first album for MCA Nashville, and it will be released on August 18, 2009. The album was originally scheduled for release on August 26, 2008, but was delayed.[1] The album was produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, the same producers who work for Miranda Lambert. The album includes a duet with Lambert, as well as co-writes with Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts' lead singer Gary LeVox, and five songs that Nail co-wrote.[2] The lead-off single is the title track (which was originally recorded by the alternative rock band Train on their 2003 album My Private Nation), and it peaked at #47 on Hot Country Songs chart in 2008.[3] The second single, "Red Light" (which was co-written by Jonathan Singleton) was released in early-2009, and has become his first Top 40 hit in May 2009.
歌手介绍:
David Nail (born in Kennett, Missouri) is an American country music artist. In 2002, he debuted with the single "Memphis", a #52 on the Billboard country charts and the lead-off single to his unreleased, self-titled debut album. In 2007, he signed to MCA Nashville (which, like Mercury, is under the ownership of Universal Music Group Nashville), and released his second chart single, a cover of Train's "I'm About to Come Alive". It was followed in 2009 by "Red Light", his first Top 40 country hit. Nail's first recording contract was with Mercury Nashville Records in 2002.[1] While on the label, he recorded a self-titled debut album, which was produced by Keith Stegall and John Kelton.[2] The lead-off single, "Memphis", reached #52 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. Although advance copies of the album were sent to radio stations, the album was not released,[3] and Stegall was fired from Mercury. After leaving Mercury himself, Nail took a break from the music business to help coach a baseball team.[2]Nail signed to MCA Nashville in April 2007.[3] His first release for the label, "I'm About to Come Alive" (a song previously recorded by the alternative rock band Train on its 2003 album My Private Nation), was released in early 2008 as his second single.[4] This song, which peaked at #47 on the country charts, is the first single and title track from his forthcoming MCA album, which was originally scheduled to be released on August 26, 2008, but was pushed back to mid-2009. Its second single, "Red Light", entered Top 40 in May 2009.Nail's first MCA album will be produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, the same producers who work for Miranda Lambert. The album will include a duet with Lambert, as well as co-writes with Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts' lead singer Gary LeVox, and five songs that Nail co-wrote.[5]
