由世界名著「孤星淚」改編的《 悲慘世界 Les Miserables 》，是一齣以 19 世紀法國為背景的大型舞台音樂劇，以當時法國的政治及社會現象作架構，從市井小民的故事中，刻劃深沉的人性掙扎與遺憾無奈的兒女情長。每段劇情、每段旋律，皆讓樂迷感動的無法自拔。

1985年9月30日在倫敦首演的《 悲慘世界 Les Miserables 》，不但得到 1987年東尼獎 9項大獎，劇中多首動人名曲 " I Dreamed A Dream " 、 " On My Own " 、 " Who Am I ? " 、 " Bring Him Home " 成為不斷翻唱的經典作品，更被全球各地翻譯成不同語言上演，是當今全球最賣座的超級音樂劇。這套《 十週年紀念演唱會版 》是 1995年10月8日於英國「皇家亞伯廳」的演唱會現場實況錄音，陣容空前，場面浩大，讓這齣感動人心的傳奇音樂劇夢幻般重現，成為絕對不容錯過的超級版本。
