还没有在排行榜上看到这个stop and stare。。刚听了开始觉得一般，就是那句stop and stare又回想起Apologize的it's too late to apologize

One Republic的新单曲stop and stare的MV出来后有很多人都说看不懂这个MV的喻意,其实在2月6日MTV TRL采访中ryan已经解释的很清楚了,"the whole video is a metaphor for choices you make in life and where you can end up versus where you want to end up"如果对比歌词的话会更容易理解.目前这首单曲本周在billboard上迅速窜升13位,排在第20位.

"Umm…this video…we didn't want to do something 'cause…the lyrics to Stop and Stare, if you listen to it or read the lyrics, it's very…it's pretty obvious what it's about. It's about the struggle. It's about, like I said just a minute ago, 'How did my life end up in this spot and how do I, you know, how do I change it?' So we wanted to make some metaphors to that. You have the pregnant girl and you have the grave and the old man. Which represents basically birth and death. Umm…and then all the different people, if you look at all the people standing outside throughout the video kinda like staring at us performing, each person represents a different walk of life, a different choice, a different job, a different path. You know…umm. And then you have like, you know, obviously making a certain choice like where somebody gets pregnant or you end up in the grave. I mean there's…it's basically…the whole video is a metaphor for choices you make in life and where you can end up versus where you want to end up."
