Euro Groove is a collection of cool, contemporary grooves from the European continent's leading musicians, producers and DJs. Some of the artists on Euro Groove will be familiar to international audiences. England's Chumbawamba rose to unlikely stardom in 1997 with their single "Tubthumping," but have gone on to play music ranging from pop-influenced dance and world music to acoustic folk. The band is generally influenced by anarchist political stances and irreverent attitude to authority, as evident on "Jacob's Ladder (Not in My Name)," initially released as a limited edition anti-war single in 2003. Germany's !DelaDap and 2raumwohnung are welcomed back to the Groove series as they make their second appearances on a Putumayo release!
