一年一度的美国福音音乐界最高奖项Dove Awards于2009年4月23日晚(美国东部时间)在Nashville隆重举行并闭幕! 今年已是Dove Awards的第四十个年头，因此这次颁奖典礼举办得非常隆重，众多福音大牌纷纷登台献艺。和此前许多福音音乐爱好者预测的一样，年度最佳男女歌手大奖不出意外地分别被当红歌手Brandon Heath(Christian Rock风格) 和 Natalie Grant (Christian Pop/Folk风格)夺得。而年度最佳新人奖方面，和酱油本人预测的一样被新晋组合Tenth Avenue North (Christian Folk风格) 夺得。此外，Brandon Heath也凭借一首"Give Me Your Eyes”夺得年度最佳歌曲大奖，而年度最佳组合大奖由大牌组合Casting Crowns夺得!
