2005年8月15日，他们发布了第一张完整的单曲，Big City Life，一举冲上了英国单曲排行榜的前15，并在德国、捷克和奥地利以及其他一些欧洲国家等坐上了排行榜冠军。同年十月底，他们推出了他们的首张专辑<Signs of A Struggle>，以柔软的电子气流穿梭在雷鬼、电子舞曲、嘻哈饶舌甚至节奏蓝调、新浪漫爵士等多样支架中。
他们将专辑取名“奋斗的痕迹”，源于其在混乱的国际背景下的重重经历。"Its difficult not to believe in fate when I look back at the creation of these songs."。许多歌曲描述了二人在困难中奋斗的经历，在很多方面反应了复杂的人际关系、家庭争端、年轻人渴望得到认可等普遍现象。专辑意在宣扬一种信念：创新带来巨大改变。
